Most organizations have regulations and policies which must be followed, right? I’ll bet that most organizations spend a hefty amount on ensuring they comply with business taxes, and all the other accounting requirements, etc. Perhaps the senior managers of large organizations already know they should be developing future leaders. But do these senior leaders really see the importance of nurturing, training and developing employees? If you are in a senior leadership position in your organization, do you have what it takes to ensure your loyal employees get the opportunity to develop and grow into future leadership positions?
Above all, great leaders are humble mentors; teach, train, share your knowledge. Do you have all six? I hope so. If not, practice these six principles and reap the rewards.
